Steganography: hiding text or message behind image

Steganography is the technique to place text content behind the images. This is generally performed by the terrorists to hide the secret messages behind the images and conveying the message via sending the Image via Internet.

You can hide any message or text file behind image using simple command.

instruction:

1. Click on start button and type cmd in search box than hit, command Prompt will open and go to the directory where your text file and image file are present using cd command. . For example if your image is present on desktop than type:

cd Desktop
and click enter button.

2. Let’s say you have image file ‘hello.jpg’ and text file ‘secret.txt’ than type this command on command prompt

Copy /b hello.jpg + secret.txt

Here b is used for binary mode.
Now your text file attached with image file.

3. To see image simple click on image and to see text file, right click on image file and open as text file and find your message at the end of the text file.
